Established in 1996, the International Women Tournament of St-Gaudens on the ITF Women's Circuit is one of the main tournaments of the "Midi Pyrénées" region in France. Many great names among the Top 10 from the current professional circuit -Kim Clijsters (n°3), Daniela Hantuchova (n°5) and Jelena Dokic (n°9)- have taken part in this tournament.
Maria Kirilenko (RUS) won the 2004 tournament.

The ITF Women’s Circuit provides entry level tournaments enabling players to eventually reach the WTA TOUR. The ITF Women’s Circuit offers some 300 tournaments in 61 countries worldwide and has five prize money levels: US$5,000, US$10,000, US$25,000, US$50,000 and US$75,000. Total prize money is over $6 million.

St. Kilda Festival Melbourne turned on perfect weather with a pleasant 22 degrees for the biggest St Kilda Festival ever with final attendance estimated at 400,000 on the main Festival Day, Sunday. Highlights include the L'Oréal Paris Runway Shows, Salon Shows presented by City of Stonnington, Independent Runway presented by MINI and Target Rocks Red Market.

The annual L’Oréal Melbourne Fashion Festival (LMFF) Business Seminar is a key event in the Festival program and one of the most anticipated business events in Australia. Insightful and thought provoking, the LMFF Business Seminar challenges key market issues and delivers innovative ideas for business planning. It is a forum where creative industry participants network and are stimulated by world leaders in the areas of business strategy, trend forecasting, creative design practice and retail futures. The 2006 LMFF Business Seminar will investigate the topics of creative solutions that add value to your business and enhance the customer experience.

Waterfront City at Melbourne Docklands will be transformed into fashion central, when this amazing new space becomes the principal venue for the Festival’s major runway shows.

Australia's pre-eminent designers, including Toni Maticevski, Easton Pearson, Martin Grant, Nicola Finetti, Morrissey, Mad Cortes, AG, T.L. Wood and many more, will present their autumn/winter collections at the seven L’Oréal Paris Runway group shows, setting the scene for the season ahead.

L’Oréal Paris Runway will be staged over five nights with the support of high profile fashion publications including Harper’s Bazaar, Madison, Cleo, Men’s Style, NW and Shop Till You Drop. L’Oréal Paris Make-up Director, Rae Morris and L’Oréal Professionnel Hair Director, Mark Thompson will team together again in 2006 to create the hottest looks for the autumn winter season.
